Here are the last 3 Diptychs for my final project! I'm really happy with them. I tried to do something different with the lips so I had the model smile.

Final Workings
Here are the first two diptych's for my final! I shot the beauty shots with a beauty dish. I first tired the ring flash but I didnt like the way it looked and it seemed impossible to get it dialed down enough but still be close enough to shoot macro. I'm happy with these but I'm excited to do more and make them better!

Baby Frank
I shot my good friend Sam's newborn, Frank, as a gift. He was pretty fussy for most of the time. But we were able to get off a few good ones. He really loves him Mommy, the only time he was happy was in her arms.

Final Start
I decided to go with my first idea of the diptychs with flowers for my final project. I made the decision based on the way my portfolio is going to turn out. I am required to make a portfolio for my portfolio development class. I decided I'm going to make one book of just beauty and a separate book of fashion at a later time. I think this series will fit in very well with my body of work so far. Here are the first shots of my project. These are the flowers I chose sort of at random. I just knew I wanted multi-colored flowers. I will draw inspiration from the flowers colors, shapes, and textures for the makeup. I wanted the shots to be simplistic and just showcase the beauty of the flowers and colors themselves.

Fire Fear
Soft Box top right.
Reflector back lit
I liked the brick background but the fire looked much better against black. Bounced frontal lighting.
Medium Soft box front right.
Bounce umbrella from front.

Top right bare reflector.
Medium Soft box front right.
I shot fire eating for the fear assignment because fire is something people are usually afraid of. I've come to learn threw fire dancing and fire eating that fire isn't something to fear. I never thought I would be a fire performer in my life, but here I am & I love it!!
